Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers enacted a bill from the state’s Workers’ Compensation Advisory Committee that includes an immediate 1.9% benefit increase.
The governor on Friday signed AB 1073, by the Assembly Committee on Labor and Integrated Employment.
The bill increases the maximum permanent partial disability benefit to $438 from $430 immediately. The measure also increases the maximum PPD benefit to $446 per month for injuries occurring on or after Jan. 1, 2025.
