A judge has dismissed liens with a total claimed value of about $18.1 million that were filed by a former provider who was convicted of fraud in 2016 and suspended from the California workers’ compensation system, according to the Department of Industrial Relations.
Michael E. Barri, a former chiropractor from San Clemente, had spent several years trying to fight his suspension in court and collect on the liens that he filed in 944 workers’ comp cases.
