Proponents of legislation aimed at making it easier for workers’ comp payers to identify secondary payers who might be owed money for a claimant’s medical treatment are trying again this congressional session.
Reps. Gus Bilirakis, R-Florida, and Ron Kind, D-Wisconsin, introduced the PAID Act last year as H.R. 5881, but the bill failed to gain traction before the congressional session ended.
