Bill Would Expand PTSD Presumption

The presumption that post-traumatic stress disorder arose out of and in the course of employment would apply to dispatchers and California state hospital and developmental services workers, under a recently introduced bill. Sen. Henry Stern, D-Canoga Park, on Monday introduced SB 284, which would expand the presumption that went into effect at the start of 2020.
