Kickboxing Classes and Stolen Premiums Spur Fraud Charges

A claimant who was spotted taking part in a kickboxing class while claiming she couldn't walk without a knee brace and an insurance agent who pocketed premiums from local businesses were among the people charged with workers' compensation fraud in December, according to the monthly newsletter of the Pennsylvania Fraud Prevention Authority. The Attorney General's office charged 34-year-old Joshua Correll of Algrightsville with two counts of workers' compensation fraud on Dec. 9.
