Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer enacted legislation that will allow firefighters who develop certain cancers to receive workers’ compensation benefits from the First Responder Presumed Coverage Fund.
Whitmer on Dec. 17 signed into law House Bill 4172, by Rep. Jeff Yaroch, R-Richmond.
