Court Clarifies Calculation of Fees Awards For Workers With Service-Connected Disability Retirement

The Maryland Appellate Court ruled that attorney fees are calculated from the compensation awarded to a public employee after applying the offset for any service-connected disability retirement benefits from the employer.
