Insurance Department Names Shelia Travis Chief Examiner

The Alabama Insurance Department announced the appointment of Sheila Travis as chief examiner, effective immediately. Travis will succeed Richard Ford, who recently retired. Travis will lead the Department’s Examination Division and be responsible for regulating insurance company financial solvency and market conduct.
