Compounding Regulations Aimed at Safety, Won't Necessarily Cut Costs for Comp

While industry experts said proposed California regulations on compounded medications might not decrease the costs of those drugs for workers’ compensation payers, the rules take steps toward improving safety for patients. The regulations are part of a national trend by state lawmakers to promote safe use of the drugs.
