Colorado workers’ compensation carrier Pinnacol Assurance announced that it is cutting rates and plans to distribute $40 million in dividend payments next year.
Pinnacol said it is reducing rates an average of 11%, effective Jan. 1.
“The decrease is designed not only to keep more cash in your pocket, but to do so without setting up dramatic rate swings in the future,” the carrier said in a blog post.
