The Florida state House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill that would give first responders up to a year from the date of diagnosis to file claims for post-traumatic stress disorder, and a bill to require the use of insolvent carrier data when setting work comp rates.
The House on Wednesday voted 115-0 to pass HB 689, by Rep. Mike Giallombardo, R-Cape Coral, which would revise the time frame for first responder PTSD claims.
