Montana lawmakers took the first step toward transferring the state's work comp court from the executive branch to the judiciary, with a policy committee unanimously passing the bill Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the House of Representatives unanimously passed a bill clarifying that the use of an employer-provided vehicle is not dispositive to establish that a person is acting in the course of employment.
