The California Department of Insurance will hold a public hearing April 8 to review the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau’s Sept. 1 regulatory filing.
The WCIRB in February filed proposed changes to the California Workers’ Compensation Uniform Statistical Reporting Plan and to the Miscellaneous Regulations for the Recording and Reporting of Data that it said would improve clarity and consistency.
One of the proposed changes would reduce the experience rating eligibility threshold to $9,500 from $9,900.
