Bills Propose Expanding PTSD Coverage, System Study

Connecticut lawmakers introduced bills that would expand conditions triggering workers' compensation coverage for post-traumatic stress disorder and require a study of the state's system. Lawmakers in 2019 enacted a measure allowing first responders to file PTSD claims for specific incidents, including seeing a dead child or witnessing a traumatic physical injury.
