A south Florida business owner has been charged with fraud after he underreported payroll to shave almost $200,000 off his workers' compensation premiums, authorities said.
Santos Cardona, owner of YYCS Enterprises in Fort Myers, was arrested Thursday after investigators determined that he had more than $1 million in payroll but reported only about $59,000, according to a news release from the state Department of Financial Services.
