Sacramento Bus Driver Accused of Fraud

A Northern California bus driver is facing two felony fraud counts after video of an alleged workplace injury appeared to contradict statements she made when filing a workers’ compensation claim, according to Intercare Holdings Insurance Services Inc. Evonne McGriff Beck told Sacramento Regional Transit she injured her left knee in May 2017 when she banged it into a fare box while getting out of her driver’s seat.
