The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board announced the adoption of emergency rules allowing telemedicine in some circumstances.
In addition to allowing virtual visits to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the board said the emergency rules will also maintain the availability of telemedicine during the process to adopt permanent rules.
