Colorado’s Pinnacol Assurance urged the state’s employers to be proactive in reviewing and enhancing their vehicle safety protocols, saying heavily traveled roads during summer months increase the risk of accidents.
Pinnacol said motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of fatalities among workers by a margin of 2-to-1.
