The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development applauded a reduction of more than 50% in comp costs over the last decade that brought the state closer to the national average in Oregon’s biennial rate ranking study.
The Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services recently published its 2022 rate comparison that found a nationwide median of $1.27 per $100 of payroll in Pennsylvania. New Jersey had the highest costs at $2.44, while North Dakota had the lowest at 58 cents.
