The National Council on Compensation Insurance said it found no evidence that the Affordable Care Act reduced the number of workers’ compensation claims filed on Mondays.
Slightly more workers’ compensation claims are filed on Monday than any other day of the week, and NCCI said it is hypothesized this is the result of workers filing claims for non-occupational injuries that occurred over the weekend.
