State Posts Schedule of When Benefits Will Be Paid in 2021

The West Virginia Insurance Commissioner has posted the state's 2021 benefits calendar, showing when direct deposit of benefits will be made. Coal workers' pneumoconiosis fund claims, shown in pink on the calendar, will be paid near the 15th of each month, starting in January, the calendar shows. Regular claims, shown in green, will be paid near the end of the month. The office also said that the advisory meeting with National Council on Compensation Insurance actuaries, normally held in person, will be available online, on demand. Registration is available here.
