DWC Suspends 27 Providers

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation suspended 27 additional providers, including 10 the agency says participated in a scheme to defraud the Medi-Cal program. Leland G. Whitson, of Redondo Beach, was convicted in federal court of making false statements affecting a health care program.
