OSHA to Address Violence in Health Care, Social Assistance Workplaces

The federal work safety agency may propose a standard to address workplace violence in health care and social assistance settings. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued a Request for Information Tuesday seeking public comments on the extent and nature of workplace violence in the industry, and the effectiveness of prevention methods.
