MLAC Reviewing Comp Bills at Friday Meeting

Oregon’s Management-Labor Advisory Committee will review a bill dealing with the definition of "covered" employee, and two measures calling for studies of the state’s comp system, during a Friday meeting. MLAC members will discuss House Bill 3188, which would define workers covered by state comp laws to be anyone other than an independent contractor providing services for remuneration.
