Workers’ compensation defense firm Gilson Daub has released a flowchart intended to help people navigate California laws creating presumptions that COVID-19 is a compensable occupational condition.
Gov. Gavin Newsom in September enacted Senate Bill 1159, which codified the presumption he created through executive order earlier this year and created two additional presumptions that will be in place until the start of 2023.
