Lawmakers Want Auditor to Review Timeliness of Care

Two Southern California lawmakers want the state’s auditor to conduct an independent investigation on the timeliness of medical care being provided to injured workers. Assemblyman Tom Lackey, R-Palmdale, is asking the Legislature’s Joint Legislative Audit Committee to order up a study on “the enforcement capabilities” of the Division of Workers’ Compensation.
