Two Southern California lawmakers want the state’s auditor to conduct an independent investigation on the timeliness of medical care being provided to injured workers.
Assemblyman Tom Lackey, R-Palmdale, is asking the Legislature’s Joint Legislative Audit Committee to order up a study on “the enforcement capabilities” of the Division of Workers’ Compensation.
