Federal workplace safety inspectors fined two health facilities and one beef processor for allegedly failing to protect workers from COVID-19.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited Hackensack Meridian Health Residential Care Inc. for two serious alleged violations and one alleged other-than-serious violation at its facility in North Bergen, New Jersey. Meridian faces $28,070 in penalties.
