The Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Commission announced that maximum weekly benefits will increase by 4.4% on Sunday.
The new maximum weekly benefit for temporary total disability and permanent disability is $1,575, up from $1,509.
At the same time, maximum weekly payments for temporary partial disability and permanent partial disability will increase to $1,154 from $1,108.
The commission said the increases were required because the state’s average weekly wage climbed to $1,574.17 from $1,508.83.
