A California appellate court upheld the fraud conviction of a vocational nurse for falsely claiming he had been attacked by a prison inmate with a contaminated syringe. Case: People v. Diop, No. E073789, 03/08/2021, unpublished. Facts: Ndiawar Diop worked for the California Institution for Men in Chino as a licensed vocational nurse.
