The Indiana Workers’ Compensation Board will assess less for the Second Injury Fund in 2022 than it did in 2021, but a 5% reconciliation factor will remain in place.
The board will collect $7.595 million in 2022 compared to $8.299 million collected for this year.
Board Chair Linda Hamilton in a Second Injury Fund Report said the fund has a little more than $2.5 million, which is sufficient to cover costs until assessment payments come in next year.
