The Hawaii Senate unanimously passed a bill that would prohibit employers from denying workers’ compensation claims without reasonable cause. Sen. Jill N. Tokuda The Senate on Tuesday voted 25-0 to pass SB 2364, by Sen. Jill N. Tokuda, D-Kane’ohe. The bill would prohibit employers from denying claims without cause, or while an investigation is underway.
