Arthur J. Gallagher Sees Net Income Climb 53% in Q4

Fourth-quarter net income at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. rose to $95.1 million, up 53% from $62.3 million in the fourth quarter of 2015, the company reported on Thursday. For the full year, net income was $414.4 million, a 16% increase from $356.8 million for 2015. The company reported commissions of $597 million in the fourth quarter and $2.44 billion for the full year, up from $590 million and $2.34 billion in the respective prior-year periods.
