Moran Steps Down as Head of DWC

By Greg Jones, Western Bureau ChiefRosa Moran, the administrative director of the Division of Workers’ Compensation, resigned less than a week after the California Legislature passed a sweeping reform measure that will require considerable regulatory action to implement.Moran stepped down on Wednesday evening and will return to her former position as a workers’ compensation judge at the Oakland district office, according to DWC spokesman Dean Fryer.
