OSHA Fines Contractor $80K After Seeing Workers Without Gloves, Goggles, Fall Protection

This August, safety inspectors watched workers apply stucco to an Evanston, Illinois, home's roof without gloves, goggles or fall protection. Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspectors also found that JW Construction and Plastering's scaffolds were not fully planked, exposing workers to falls of between 13 and 25 feet.
