A Virginia bus driver whose assault by a passenger was recorded by surveillance cameras is fighting for workers’ compensation benefits after the transit authority’s carrier denied his claim on the grounds that he missed opportunities to run away from his attacker, according to a report by the CBS affiliate in Richmond.
