The Louisiana House of Representatives passed bills that would require medical fee schedules to be based on rates charged in neighboring states and would allow carriers to collect past-due premiums after payroll audits.
The House on Monday voted 62-26 to pass HB 117, by Rep. Michael Echols, R-Monroe, which would modify requirements for fee schedules setting reimbursement rates for medical services, drugs and supplies.
