Workers’ comp renewal rates fell 0.48% in the first quarter, following declines in the fourth quarter of last year, according to a report from Ivans, a property and casualty insurance industry exchange.
By month, rates were down 0.33% in January, 0.86% in February and 0.25% in March, according to Ivans, a division of Applied Systems.
In the fourth quarter, rate changes ranged from a 2.0% drop in November to a 0.85% decrease in December.
