Farmers Names Fernandez, Kappler Business Unit Presidents

Farmers Insurance has named new presidents for two of its business units. Sharon Fernandez has been appointed president of business insurance, and Eric Kappler has been promoted to president of Bristol West. Fernandez was most recently president of Bristol West Insurance, a car insurance carrier that is part of Farmers Insurance Group. She helped implement a turnaround of the business, which now delivers $1 billion in gross written premium.
