Comments Urge Commission to Tighten Rules on Opioids

Nine months after being directed by the North Carolina legislature to tighten the reins on opioid prescribing, the state's Industrial Commission has proposed new rules that, like those in a growing number of states, would limit initial prescriptions to five days for injured workers.
