BWC Offers Grant to Improve Employee Safety

Ohio businesses are eligible to receive grant money for the purchase of equipment to protect their employees. The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation announced it will reopen the safety intervention grant program to assist employers in helping keep their workers safe. The grant program offers a 3-to-1 match of funds of up to $40,000 to private and public employers covered by the State Insurance Fund that want to purchase equipment to substantially reduce or eliminate injuries and illnesses associated with a particular task or operation.
