The California Division of Workers’ Compensation on Wednesday announced that it will permanently close its Eureka satellite office on July 1 and move operations online.
The Eureka office, like others throughout the state, switched to online operations at the start of the pandemic in March 2020. The division said it doesn’t plan to reopen the office, even if restrictions are lifted.
