Employer Can't Avoid Payment for Pharmacy Bill by Settling Claim with Worker

The Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania ruled that an employer could not avoid liability for a worker’s medications by settling the worker’s claim without admitting liability for the worker’s alleged injuries since it had also agreed to release the worker from liability for payment of his pharmacy provider.
