ICA Proposes Rules for Cancer Claim Reporting

The Industrial Commission of Arizona introduced rules to carry out a requirement from a 2021 bill that carriers, self-insured employers and self-insurance pools report cancer claims by firefighters. Lawmakers last year enacted SB 1451, by Sen. Paul Boyer, R-Phoenix, which extended presumptive cancer coverage to fire investigators and revised conditions that trigger the presumption.
