The Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission offices across the state are closed until Thursday, presumably because of the violent protests that have hit Chicago and most American cities in recent days.
“This closure has been occasioned by the events of the last several days, throughout the United States, but in particular those in Chicago,” the commission said in a bulletin posted on its website.
