A federal judge in San Francisco will hold a hearing next month to consider a proposed order that would vacate the December ruling of a National Football League arbitrator directing former players to abandon their workers’ compensation claims in California.Arbitrator Michael H. Beck on Dec. 12 issued a decision saying players signed contracts agreeing to file work comp claims in the state where the team was located.
