Workers’ compensation premium renewal rates continued falling in July while rates for other commercial lines increased, according to a report released Wednesday by Ivans.
The Ivans Index found that workers’ comp rates were down 1.41% last month after dropping 0.86% in June. It was the first decrease of more than 1% this year, Ivans said.
Meanwhile, commercial auto renewal rates were up 3.28% in July, compared to 2.41% in June. Business owner policies, general liability and commercial property rates were up 3.65%, 1.85% and 2.45%, respectively. Each showed a smaller incr...
