Bill Would Allow Employers to Nix Compounded-Drug Payment

A bill introduced Thursday would allow employers to refuse to pay for compounded drugs that have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.  Senate Bill 6436, by Sen. Jose Peralta, D-Queens, would also allow claimants to fill workers' compensation prescriptions at any licensed in-state pharmacy.
