Senate Approves Expanded Parking Lot Coverage Bill

The New Jersey Senate has approved a bill that would classify most parking areas as part of the workplace, and injuries there would be covered by workers' comp. The Senate voted 22-10 this week in favor of Senate Bill 771, sponsored by Senate Majority Whip Nicholas Scutari, D-Linden.
