State IDs Trucking Cos. With Unpaid Judgments

The California labor commissioner posted a list of port trucking companies with unpaid judgments to implement a new law holding businesses that contract with the transportation firms jointly and severally liable for future labor law violations. Senate Bill 1402 requires the state to post a list of drayage companies with unpaid judgments for labor law violations, outstanding tax assessments or tax liens to its website.
