The Texas Senate on Thursday passed a bill that would revise requirements relating to regular reports intended to monitor the performance and progress of the state’s workers’ compensation system.
Thursday’s vote clears the way for HB 1753 to go to the desk of Gov. Greg Abbott. The final vote tally was not immediately available Thursday. The state House of Representatives voted 143-0 to pass the bill May 7.
